Our Lost Pastime 9/3/23

It was such a lazy afternoon; I packed my perked beverage and proceeded to the park, where a baseball game was in progress. I’m always gifted a front row seat when I see the local nine play. I have had a strong affinity for baseball ever since I was a kid. It evokes a feeling of yesteryear to a simpler time. It is no longer the central pastime that permeated America, but it still resonates for me. I’m glad to have this day, this game, and—of course this—cup of coffee.
