I had a meeting today. My colleague suggested an ice cream place. She said they have coffee there. At one time I would have tried to navigate the meeting to another location, but I went with the flow and did not object. As usual I chatted up the barista and discovered that there was a conscious sourcing of beans; they roast their own and they serve a very nice cup of coffee. We often judge books by the cover. I’m glad I was able to open up to the pages of this diamond in the rough. Oh, the meeting went well.
