Undocumented Idiom 10/23/29

Halloween is almost here and the pumpkin spice lattes are going like hot cakes. One wonders to the overall success of hot cakes turning in to the 19th century. The undocumented idiom is best researched back to state fairs when hot cakes were a big fair food. The phrase is largely out of use, there hasn’t been a great replacement. Regardless of origin, I will have to pass on the pumpkin spice latte and stick with the traditional. I appreciate all who are vested in the seasonal festivities, and applaud your embracement of variety. I must stick with the tried and true, long established, time-honored, classical, caffe latte. We all must walk our own path.
