The Heart and Soul of Coffee, is a book sharing my passion for coffee with you. I know that millions of people share this affection with me. It is not just a beverage, “The bonds that hold us together are strengthened over coffee.” – The Heart & Soul of Coffee.

 

The book celebrates coffee and café culture. It is one of the few places where people can meet and connect. The connection that coffee and cafes bring us have been going on for hundreds of years, “It is a birthplace of ideas and a place where people come to congregate and create. Cafés bring us together.” – The Heart & Soul of Coffee.

 

In this vein I want to share my coffee world with you. There is a humanity in the café that still exists. I find baristas and staff highly friendly. Most people working with coffee is because they love it and they love working with people. Even though coffee gives us the physical pleasure we enjoy, in The Heart & Soul of Coffee, coffee is also a metaphor for life and the appreciation for the simple things, that if recognized can bring us joy.
